For many, nothing is more annoying than listening to a speaker attempt to motivate and inspire using a string of cliches and platitudes. Empty words meant to be notable but proven to be nothing more than a water sandwich. It’s a way of speaking that has permeated corporate culture and public speakers in sports, public office, and media.
